How to Install Dual Shower Head?

Do you usually hire a professional plumber to install your shower head? If you are just replacing an existing shower or installing a simple handheld shower head. This type of installation work generally does not require high technical skills and many families can do it themselves. Especially our dual shower head, the installation steps are very simple

To install a BrightShowers showerhead, you can follow these general steps. Keep in mind that installation instructions may vary slightly depending on the model, so it's always a good idea to check the specific manual included with your product. However, here’s a standard procedure for installing the hot selling dual showerhead:

What You’ll Need:
Bright Showers rain shower head with handheld
Adjustable wrench (if needed)
Plumber’s tape (Teflon tape)
Cloth (to protect surfaces)

Installation Steps:
1. Turn Off the Water Supply
Before beginning any installation, make sure to turn off the water supply to your shower. This will prevent any water from spraying out while you're working.

2. Remove the Old Showerhead
If you're replacing an existing showerhead, you’ll need to remove it:

Use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the old showerhead from the shower arm (the pipe sticking out from the wall).
If the showerhead is stuck, you can wrap a cloth around the connection to prevent damaging the pipe and use the wrench to loosen it.

3. Clean the Shower Arm
Once the old showerhead is removed, take a moment to clean the shower arm. Wipe it down with a cloth to remove any debris, mineral build-up, or old plumber’s tape that might interfere with the new installation.

4. Apply Plumber’s Tape (Teflon Tape)
Wrap a layer of plumber’s tape around the threaded part of the shower arm. This will help prevent leaks and ensure a tight, secure fit between the arm and your new showerhead. Be sure to wrap it in a clockwise direction to ensure it stays in place when screwing on the new showerhead.

Apply Teflon Tape

5. Attach the BrightShowers Showerhead
Take your new BrightShowers showerhead and align it with the threaded connection on the shower arm.
Screw the showerhead onto the arm by hand, turning it clockwise until it’s snug.

7. Test for Leaks
Turn the water supply back on and let the shower run for a few seconds.
Check around the connection to make sure there are no leaks.
If you see any water leaking from the joint, turn off the water, unscrew the showerhead, and check the alignment or add more plumber’s tape to the threads before reinstalling it.

8. Enjoy Your New Best Shower Heads!
Once the showerhead is securely in place and no leaks are present, you're all set! Enjoy the new water pressure, spray settings, and overall improved shower experience.
